Could someone explain the differences between FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD? (Not in detail, just so I get a general view what the different goals are.)

Well, 2.3 million views is still a lot, and I think YouTube won't risk dropping those users.

Note: RMS think Linux is "good enough" and Linux-libre is part of GNU, so Linux will be used for the in-development official GNU "distro".

Then everyone would have ran BSD. (J/K) Micro kernels are very hard to debug.

Do I have to use a brush? I dislike not to feel when touching the material like you do while painting with a normal pencil, or is the part that you don't feel where you're placing the colors part of painting?

LISP is great for learning, here's a tip though. If SICP is too advanced, start with Simply Scheme or The Little Schemer instead.

If I had more time I could gladly try to find all tutorials I'm targeting at, this ain't targeted at the book mentioned in the story, that one I haven't tried. The thing I personally found hard is that these OOP and modules things come up i

The thing is, using a function like sqrt is totally ok, but what I was more pointing to is that many tutorials teaches how to use module's in the very beginning and encuaraging(sorry for my bad english) using them to rather bypass problems

Sure, I spent about 1 week learning the very basics about variables, loops and functions etc. After that I started looking for a harder challange and finded a few fun problems in some tutorials. I got very angry when I tried to solve them,

Totally true, one solution though could be to pay people to turn in guns, this won't work in practice probably though.

I get your point, but why should you even bother using modules when you are trying to learn programming? The scenario you suggests isen't a task for a beginner, especially not a kid with no experience. Anyway, I just want to say a quick apo

Indeed, it's still very annoying though, I can see how OOP can be good for larger scale but when you want to learn pragramming it shouldn't be something that gets in the way, it did for me.

Feels like a cheap solution, there is countries where guns are very hard to get, and in those countries guns are way less used in crimes compared to USA for example. This will result in even more guns and probably a even bigger problem in t

I tried it as "first language" and it's a freaking pain, I still don't understand the "everything is an object" stuff and why to use modules for everything instead of solving problems with your own code. BASIC is way better for beginner's,

Haha, at the moment it seems like a quite boring friend, but if you'll do cooller stuff with it(like adding some kind of way to communicate with it) I would really like to try it.

Well, I didn't mean to sound like I dislike the idea, hacker value can be as much reason as a problem to code a salvation.
