All true. But, perhaps, not precisely the "10 commandments" I'd choose based my own RSI experience. Tangential: notice how all RSI-related resources online are low quality and, in particular, look terrible? I've long wanted to start an attr

The Appengine team continually updates developers on their progress with an admirable degree of transparency. So, though I've suffered from the recent decrease in GAE performance, I'm confident they will resolve the issues in short order.

You would be getting into a very crowded market with large network effects and economies of scale. Your skills may be more fruitfully applied elsewhere.

An enjoyable description of tech companies, small & medium, that make money for the founders but don't exit big.

God I wish I understood GIT. The screenshot here doesn't help me in any way. Tempted to stick with gitx. What is the advantage of this software?

Wonder if this is related to the new incentives Kappos pushed through for examiners. I've heard no acceptable explanations yet.

Any word on whether the previously leaked device was a motivation for the radically different appearance of the iPhone 4?

Not only funny, but bad SEO. They'd be better off separating the words rather than concatenating them.

They also have to pay their 4 employees and their VCs need a return on investment. If you're 1/2 of their product w/ 1/20th the cost, you have options. Consider ways in which your "low cost/complexity" can be used to your advantage. E.g.

Agreed, not useful, but entertaining. (Similarly, how about a webapp for simulation of various founder /funding scenarios?)

Well put. Would be entertaining to see the same basic maths with an adjustment for probability of success. E.g. "if you feel the extra confounder increases your odds of success 40% ..."

Very very skeptical it's that easy. $2k/mo in AdSense is a TON of traffic. So, unless these are celebrity diaries, unlikely.

This is HUGE. These data formerly cost about $30k just for the historic patent data. Similar costs on TM side. This is a big win for transparency and innovation.

Right. An intern doing a "sanity/troll" moderating would make it a respectable effort.

In fact, it appears they may be granted at a rate exceeding submissions. (But, there is a publication & grant timelag, so it's not as clear as that.) See also: * Article: http://www.patentlyo.com/patent/2010/05/patent-grants-2010.h..

Agreed with @nedwin on gut feeling to make him/her nearly equal. Hours definitely not an accurate measure of value add or your progress to date. Heard this once: 90% of zero is zero. You want a split that incentivizes your partner to ma

Not FUD. Verified for multiple cases in which a CNAME points to a linode XXX.members.linode.com address. I'm guessing the variance is due to different agencies implementing different security stuff. Again, 3x verified & no intent of F
