I understand that, but if a container of food shrinks by an ounce or two over time most won't buy an entire extra one to make up the difference. If you could buy all food by weight this would be easier to notice and make an apples to a

Food prices are hard to notice because often instead of raising the price they make the package smaller. So on top of your 50% price increase you might get slightly less food for the dollar. I find it interesting that the PlayStation stayed

Don't understand the downvotes, but brave search is a pretty decent product so far. Competition is always good, especially in the area of search.

You left out the "in public schools" part. You can still look at all the CRT stuff you want on the internet in the US. Stuff like White Fragility are top sellers in the US. This is not even remotely the same as the Taliban banning

Sadly this will likely be little to no impact on Apple long term either. I too agree this is coming from the government. They have found their loophole of using "private industry" to do all the dirty stuff they cannot directly do.

Maybe Journalists need to be better at their jobs and just more honest in general? Major publications should have revision history links as articles are changed. If anything some of them are clearly going out of their way to cover their tra

This is literally a plot line from Metal Gear Solid 2 made real. I will quote below: Colonel : Raiden, you seem to think that our plan is one of censorship. Raiden : Are you telling me it's not!? Rose : You're being silly!

Sure it's N=1, but I worked more than 40 hours every single week when I was at a FANG. I used to laugh at all the perks because who actually had the time to use most of them other than interns. Times I used a climbing wall or nap pod:

What slowdown? My FB stock is up 100% since March 2020. Seems to me they are expecting even more power coming out of covid. Their influence on society has grown even stronger in the past year and a half.

They are slowly moving in the direction of only letting you run apps from their app store. Look at all the warnings and prompts you get if you try to run a program you downloaded outside of it.
