Great game, but I won't really sign up for a gaming service that is controlled (in part) by Tencent. Don't get me wrong, Epic makes great stuff. The Unreal engine is amazing. You can argue Tim Sweeney is the CEO, but any meeting a

That land you describe has “semi-hidden” enclaves of some of the richest households in the entire country. There is a reason why it’s underdeveloped. They don’t want you living near them.

This is a super narrow pessimistic viewpoint that is rife with agenda pushing. We do not know if the wealthy years of the 20th century are over yet. Neo-feudalism is possible, but unlikely to be the same conditions as the middle-ages standa

So far in 2022 this has not been true. Compare the 1 year of VOO to inflation. USD inflation, no idea but like +8-12% depending on what you are trying to buy? VOO -20%. Ouch. Personally this year I have had better results holding cash than

Yeah if given a chance I would 100% opt out. Even if it was post tax dollars. I would rather manage my own future.

Ah yes, the propagandist take on things. I’ve seen more than a few videos of Chinese police robbing people/business right out in the open. Anybody that stands in their way gets brutalized. The CCP are so dishonest we have no idea what

Buy a Denon or similar receiver with Audussey dynamic volume. This adds a small amount of lag but is amazing for keeping dialogue clear and loud without having a sound like an explosion wake everyone up in the house. It’s a good deal better

I find it decently unlikely that anything serious happens to Bankman-Fried. There is a zero percent chance the people he helped funnel money into will see a whiff of an investigation. The level of corruption is too high in US finance and po

There needs to be a way to have 3rd party app stores on these platforms. Tired of the private platform argument. Google/Apple works hard to crush viable competition. It's time for laws to be written to step in and fix this.
