How do you compute the gradient of a non differentiable function? I'm not an expert, but that contradicts anything I've learned about gradient descent.

+1 Happens all the time. Can't tell specifically what the cause is. Most common seems to be the display hangs after unplugging HDMI while the laptop was in sleep mode.

I've used sheetrock ( https://github.com/chriszarate/sheetrock ) with good success in the past. But this definitely seems more refined.
