I'm not sure that's true. I believe the founder of OKCupid is speaking at an internet retailer conference this summer on content for SEO. The lovely linkbait data OKCupid releases certainly is marketing, and certainly cost money to produce.

I would love if the United States modified and did this. Do the research on what majors pay and lead to what outcomes - and then shove those results in high school senior's faces often (instead of forcing the majors closed).
