This is also backed up by history/every biography I have ever read.

This is a little off-topic, but I've heard a lot of bad things about Gerstner as well (read the one star reviews on Amazon for his book). It is pretty well accepted that he saved IBM, or is it controversial amongst people in the know?

I don't think Windows is a horrible OS in any meaningful way to the market. To the layman, there is not much difference in productivity, fun or functions between OSX and Windows 7, and most users don't need the features Linux provides.

I totally understand your need for guidance, but this might be better put on Reddit.com. There would be a lot more people answering your query, and topics like this are common and acceptable there, and I've always seen a lot of quality answ

Note: I don't have a PhD, this is just based on the article and other things I have read. It seems to me that this article goes around the two main, most obvious aspects of a PhD; 1) Improve yourself (smarter, better critical thinking, etc)

I've thought about this for a while. Where did you start, and what languages are best for this kind of toe-dipping? Also, what kind of time investment did you have to put in?

In a reddit Ask Me Anything post a TSA screener mentioned how his area alone found 1-2 guns a month and a few knives/screwdrivers a day.

It's about 50/50, depending on what sites you view, between the gritty and the professional.

It seems like the "magic search" feature has plenty of glitches, but the data is there; for instance, Marketing didn't appear at first, but after clicking to the full list and then going back, it appeared just fine.

To be fair, majoring in Marketing looks like it will easily net you six figures if you're in the top 25% (which most people here probably are)

Keep in mind Einsteins brain was especially small, and nodes were closer together. In addition, women's brains are smaller than mens, but it is fairly well understood that both genders are equally intelligent.

Especially since I'm using CR-48, you better believe I would pay for an extension of business value to me. I would not pay for anything fun or personal.

It seems to me the woman would only be impressed by his resourcefulness, and flattered, if he told her how he got her in a joking way over dinner. I, personally, would be impressed if a woman did it.

Actually, that's a great idea - making a version of this at sex.com, with ads, could be amazingly lucrative.

I would be bitter too. My cookie selling was against school rules, but only one of my "employees" ever got caught. I can't for the life of me figure out what schools have against capitalism, it can give great lessons.

Wow, there are even some bargain hunters today who don't have on site research tools (if I remember from you used book reseller post). That's impressive.

That's always fantastic. I had a friend once who did the same thing with the original iPhone (except it ran out of stock, it wasn't banned). He made thousands and thousands of dollars, I was so jealous.

That's pretty cool - is the market still there for that, or is there to many resellers now, do you think?

Not sure if you would want to use it, but I love ceevee.com for making my resume - the format just works for me.

Too true. This is also the same for every successful entrepreneur I've ever heard of, read about, or ever known.

This is a fascinating article that uses logic really well. Of course, he doesn't go into the answers to the question he poses: "Why do people overeat?" I suppose you have to buy the book to figure that out.

Isn't the issue, of course, that spammers have no incentive to game other search engines since they're not worth the time? Any search engine that gets big will have the problem.
