I really liked Cline until I tried Claude Code. CC being sort of "closer to the metal" in terms of API access to Claude and effectivelly no mediating interface really introduced a major philosophical change in how I think about AI

I recently wrote a big blog post on my experience spending about $200 with Claude Code to "vibecode" some major feature enhancements for my image gallery site mood.site https://kylekukshtel.com/vibecoding-claude-co

Hey all — I make a photo gallery website called mood.site. I made it initially as a test to see how far along I could build something with ChatGPT circa early 2024. A year since release the site has garnered a fair number of users, so I use

Claude Code removed an npm package (and its tree of deps) from my project and wrote its own more simple component that did the core part of what I needed the package to do. I think we'll be okay and likely better off.

The article itself is just some Forbes slop, but: I know this sounds like some bullshit futurist thing some overpaid consultant like Shingy would say, but: the seeming coming convergence of advanced AI ("thinking machines"), quant

100% this. I appreciate the puzzle of each individual clue, but I feel like it should be a valid answer if I guess a correct "outer" clue even if I haven't gotten all of its relevant inner answers.

Modern C# collection expressions make the definition of names closer to F#: string[] names = ["Peter", "Julia", "Xi"]; I know working on "natural type" of collections is something the C# team i

C# 2.0 was twenty years ago - in 20 years any language that is actively maintained is going change, especially as people adopt new syntactic sugar to write more concise code. However the .net team rarely ever breaks backwards compat with ne

Can you say more about how you made a DSL this way? I love C# but one of my (few) issues with it is that its “support” for DSLs is generally subpar compared to the JVM and how Kotlin and Java files can exist side by side in the same project

I think what you're missing here is that this is now _the_ entry point for year 1 CS students. People come in wanting to do ML. 20 years ago people came in and learned to write databases with Java and used similarly "will probably

C# has a much awaited and active proposal to add DUs to C# so I suspect C# will also support this once live (and continue its legacy of plucking great features from F#). https://github.com/dotnet/csharplang/blob&#x

Photino is way less "all in one" like Maui Blazor Hybrid. Photino is basically just a cross platform way to open a native webview on desktop platforms and give you hooks to call in and out of that, one of which is dotnet. From the
