Yikes. It sucks that you had to go through this. I find it appalling that so many bureaucratic jobs exist only to sustain their own existence: providing little value to those who pay their salary via taxes. Do you think this process would&#

I don't think "event planning" is a limitation of WhatsApp: its a chat app. Sure it could do a lot of other things(like WeChat does), but calling it a limitation is a stretch IMO.

Not sure I understand the problem they are solving, aren’t errors in logs something than can just be grepped for? (Also: really cool illustrations. Very unexpected in a tech blog.)

EDIT: @OP I do not see a link to the source for the addon. I think a lot of users would be vary of installing closed-source addons. This is great, some YouTube features are just so annoying. And I cannot disable them even though I pay for Y

I've used it a bit in production. Our use case avoided a lot of the potential issues you mentioned, so it may not be entirely helpful: * serialization: the input was passed a json string argument. the output was a file uploaded to S3,

Such pathetic leadership. International students already in the country must now either attend an in person class and risk their lives, or fly out from the country with the highest number of infections and spread it to their friends and fam

This looks very cool. I'm gonna be using this soon! I am curious why you'd create a new scripting language for this, how is JS limiting for building these visualizations?

Interesting. I'd never purchased a Kindle book because I assumed I couldn't open it with any app of my choice(I use FBReader on Android) But it'd be real nice to be able to purchase DRM free ebooks, a la GOG for games.

This sounds interesting! Could you talk a bit more about what sources you used to find problems and learn from that translated well to this approach?

I find a lot of these books too abstract. I much prefer books about people and their methods and accomplishments, as opposed to books that try to distill what they perceive as common characteristics of "succesful" people/busi
