It really depends on what you need to do. I work professionally with go, but do most of my own work in Rust (web, system, tooling, etc.) Rust is definitely strongest on the system / tooling level, it is what it is built for and what gi

My most imporant learning for my self is simply to not book meetings in the beginning of the day. It sets the tone for how I am working, and I have difficulties focus if I am in "meeting" mode. I have solved this in multiple ways,

To be fair I don't mention those because I've never hard problems with them. That said there are definitely some architectural thing I don't agree with in regards to systems, but overall I am fine with it. I will also take th

I agree. Window especially was nice compared to the previous version (7 was great too). Wsl2 is a blessing. The drivers often just work. The sad thing is for desktop usage you often have to choose the drivers preferred way of updating. I.e.

Another step in getting proficient with ampersand (or rather immutable refs), is pulling stuff from enums and structs, in an immutable way. I.e. Option<SomeStruct>, or Result<SomeStruct, ErrorKind>. Using as_ref and friends. The

I really like the new search. Though sometimes it is a bit deceptive. I.e. when searching for a function name by clicking on a piece of code and suddenly you are in an entitely different code base with an unrelated function though it shares

I am also quite addicted to youtube, however, for now I use it a tool for relaxation, even if it sometimes is somewhat excessive. I watch YouTube as a replacement for flow tv. And I know that the moment I remove the YouTube app on my tv, I
