Probably hardware dependent too as I get 8.11 on my fairly old Samsung S21. My newer laptop gets 14.9 so I'm not sure whether I agree performance is "very bad" on mobile -- it may be less performant but that is surely to be e

That Backblaze page (not surprisingly) compares their prices to a fairly expensive S3 pricing tier and makes other assumptions in Blackblaze's favour. For some use cases B2 is more expensive e.g. one copy of my backups goes to AWS Deep

I've recently switched back to Windows 11 from Linux and while it is certaintly better than what it was, is still way behind what Linux has.

Was the Thinkpad running Windows? I find Linux (Debian distro running Wayland) on Thinkpads to be exceptionally good -- on par with (and in fact I would dare say better than) MacOS on Mac hardware.

Yep this is the case at most (if not all) the brands e.g. Z, BP, Mobil, etc. But it does vary by site (and possibly time of the day and/or whether they have enough staff to monitor etc). In my experience pay-after-fill has not been the

Many fuel stations here in NZ have switched to pay first then fill for cash payments. Most stations I go to have signs saying 'Please go inside to pay first' or words to that effect on the pumps. However many chains have introduce

For me when I consider the cost of my time the Raspi in my experience is much more expensive. I've enjoyed my experiment with the Raspi but honestly would have saved si much time and hassle if I'd just went with a cheap x86 machin

This is for the carrier side of the equation. Even if a carrier uses only one vendor for all their cell tower RAN equipment, they would need to support whatever phones end-users use e.g. Samsung/Apple/etc. It's more like Netf
