I wonder if your Firefox is using hardware accelerated video. I know for me I had to play with some about:config knobs before Firefox actually started using hardware accelerated video. It is enabled by default on macOS and Windows, however

I recall it depended a lot on what DVD player you got. Some would play through scratched DVDs merely skipping over the bad parts, others would stutter through the bad parts while some would just stop. Interestingly enough it was often the c

I recall that Touch ID on both the 5s and the 7 was equally poor for me so it doesn't seem that the second generation has improved things for me at least.

I'm also one of those who could never get the Apple fingerprint reader to work well--for me it was 50/50 whether it worked or not. Like the parent I ended up switching back to code entry which was usually quicker anyway. So when I

What the parent describes is exactly how it works for my employer's O365 system. I get MFA requests on a regular basis even on known devices. Ticking the 'dont ask again' option has no effect. Meanwhile Google on the same dev

When did this change? Last time I had an iOS device it was definitely possible to use GPS without WiFi. If this is a recent regression that is disappointing.

Apple Maps is quite good here in New Zealand. I have an Android device and my husband has an iOS device. I have been impressed several times with Apple being able to route to places Google Maps can't. Apple seems to be better at adding

I'm fairly sure they don't use Google at all for the transit routing which is their secret sauce. They just overlay their transit routing data over the top of plain Google Maps. Google is pretty horrible with certain routing. For

I thought having a proper email account was what most people do. Companies probably use a role-based address e.g. certmaster@myco.com so the email goes to whoever is responsible for it today.
