carbonremoved.com I started this a year ago with exactly this purpose. Recently we added the ability to fully customise your removal plan and will shortly also have carbon removal via mineralisation in concrete to choose from.

Semi-related but what is the best intro to FPGAs, their pros/cons and how to program/interact with them? I have a background in software engineering so I'm fairly comfortable with that part but looking for a sideline into FPG

In a hypothetical, if the two did not breach Bitfinex servers (unauthorized access to others systems) but instead managed to "guess" the private key to the Bitfinex wallet and transfer the funds, would this also be a crime? Would

I'd like to start by saying that it's a sad state of affairs. I don't agree with what he said but the fact that he was found guilty is unreasonable and sets a horrible precedent moving forward. The article states that he was

I would imagine it's to stir a bit of an emotional response. Captain Tom is revered by plenty in the UK so by prefixing your title with his name you're likely to get more click-throughs.

Personally, Django. I know it so I can develop relatively quickly with it plus it has so much built in already. It's also a mature framework so chances of running into bugs for normal tasks is lower than newer/cutting edge and if

More often than not I feel these decisions are out of the developers hands. As a dev, I want to use tree shaking to make my bundles small and optimize to make my website lighthouse score 100 across the board. What happens? Marketing needs t

I think the IT industry is filled with broad, vague clauses like this that aim to lay claim to all IP an employee creates (which can include art, music etc. as well). Some employers make the excuse that it's only during office hours; o

Ok I can (hypothetically) accept that. Let's imagine I'm creating a fresh business and choose to structure it as a DAO, does this mean that the ever understanding code is the CEO steering the company? Or is the DAO the product of

A quick reminder that unless you were going to buy it anyway, a reduced price is not a "deal". You're spending more money than you otherwise would.

I'm sure this surprises no-one who has ever waited for a Black Friday (deal) only to suspect/know that the price is no different than before. It feels especially this way in Europe where retailers have adopted "Black Friday w

I haven't found a good answer to this but I'd love to discuss a little here: 1. What value does a DAO actually have/bring? 2. Are there any examples of a successful, functioning DAO that adds additional value over a tradition

Interesting take - maybe something we should branch into ;) Actually a lot of carbon removers are currently trying to sell removals for the future. Shopify and Stripe are both spending money for removals that will only be taken out of the a

As a company we want to support a portfolio so we generally recommend a minimum of 2% in every method but I do understand your concern about forestation and we do have a 'tech only' plan in the pipeline to address exactly that.

Whenever carbon removal is mentioned there's always a bit of a push back (cost, effort, excuse to keep emitting etc.). So I'd like to address some of these: Carbon removal is not a substitute for reducing emissions. However even i
