You Finns are too much! Seriously speaking though, I love how well grounded you are as a nation. The world would be a better place with more of that.

That would appear to be expected - being Finnish and all!

Yes, exactly that and the reason I turned to the guitar after turning 50. I'm hoping it will help to keep my heart young, without the added physical risks!

Thanks - just downloaded the book. It looks like solid reference.

What a nice sign off! I enjoyed reading every bit of it.

Thank you for that great explanation.

Well observed. ;) Before opening the conversation here, my mind and my lips had a "But why?" perfectly synchronized. I must say the explanation, as unpleasant as it was, perfectly fit the link!

Thanks. This point does stand out as an important takeaway from all that I've read here.

That sounds like worth trying, given your experience.

Thank you. Yes, it is figuring out the dosing that concerns me.

Thanks for the suggestions. Your psychoactive cake sounds very intriguing!

Yes, the emphasis on Facebook likes does make one wonder. Thanks for your feedback and suggestions.

Thank you. I think I will give it a try as well. We are running out of options for my father - perhaps this would be a good Hail Mary.

Hmm, seems like it's time to seriously consider extracting some THC and CBD. I'm looking at this: https://magicalbutter.com/ . Anyone have some experience with this type of gear?

Yes, that's right. I was wondering if they worked on ReactOS yet.

Do Win XP programs run yet?

Why do you say they are junk?

Yes, indeed! It was a great move by Gibson to get Slash on board after he broke out.

And back in the late 80s when Les Paul sales were flagging, out stepped a young Slash. And Gibson sales took off for another two decades and a half.

<I think it's a bit naive to believe that guitar heroes can bring the interest for the guitar back.> Isn't it the heroes in any field that inspire others to take it up? Or are you saying that there can never be another guita

Linus never ceases to inspire me - he says so much so casually: "If you can be part of a community and set up patches, ... You’ll have to spend a certain amount of time to learn a project, but there’s a huge upside -- not just from a c

These look pretty good indeed. However, I think they are still making the HP 12C? If so, I'll probably go for that.

I gave away my HP 12C when I bought a 19B back in 1990 and regretted it some years later. Recently I've been using a 12C on my phone and am now seriously craving a real HP 12C again. There's something about that calculator.

I could never figure out the ribbon-style UI. Always went round and round looking for my frequently used menu options. I'm presently half way between MSO and LO - I use MSO in a VM for legacy work, mainly in Excel. And I use LO for all

I play basketball for 30-45 minutes everyday. It made all the difference for me getting back into good shape - feel good shape - and I do hit some of the euphoria every once in a while as well. Plus, after some years of this, sugar, cholest

+1 for Harry Lorayne. I learned how to memorize long lists, numbers, dates, as well as decks of cards (backward, forward, by card number or if given a card, I'd call it's number in the deck). Fun stuff, and quite useful too.
