So despite a lot of comments here saying that can't tell the difference, there are still people out there determined to pay more money for Tidal's "HiFi" sound quality and with both Amazon and Spotify (Apple also?) also

It sounds you think the UK police are able to perform a sufficienty thorough search in a matter of hours. That sounds ideal and of course theoretically feasible but maybe not realistic. For anything longer than hours they are always going t

I agree with everything you've said here (especially "MegaMagicSync+"). But why is it such a mess? Was it added to the spec late? Or maybe because manufacturers implement it as an afterthought and don't bother testing it

I did have a quick look before posting and I thought I saw that bar had a hdmi input (for the pi) and then an output with ARC for the TV. I thought that would work but I admit it's been a while since I tinkered with CEC. But as others

I'm not an expert but the UCI document labels it as "1 main camera, 1 opposite". So I would guess the "main" camera is the source of truth and the other is a backup? Either way, presumably both cameras ideally need

Apple did reportedly reserve all the initial 5nm capacity but I don't think we can say that's the reason AMD are still on 7nm. The early state of any node better lends itself to lower power, small SoCs. AMD may have been offered s

Cisco are also getting stung at the latest node. For their new line of Silicon One switch/router chips they decided to ditch their usual fabless partner (Broadcom?) and go direct to the fab (I think it's Samsung but not sure - doe

I think plenty of people will skip it. Even ignoring the high cost, not everything scales as well with every new node. There're plenty of customers who will have no interest in this node right now and some that will have no interest in

Yes and they need to go away and design a very different chip. It's not trivial. x86 vendors already have chips like this.

For many, the reason to use CentOS was that it was stable and supported for 10 years. They killed that and personally I agree with the GP that they have probably killed CentOS along with it. CentOS Stream is "positioned as a midstream
