I don't think Bitcoin will "go out of fashion." In the long run, I believe it will "flip" the market cap of gold and become the new standard hedge against inflation. I've read reports that Bitcoin mining is alr

They could lend out their Bitcoin holdings to platforms like BlockFi, Celsius, or even negotiate loans OTC. Even the minimum APY of 3% would yield ~$45m per year. That would of course fluctuate with the spot price of Bitcoin.

The stock market--just like the economy--is not a zero-sum game. I don't know what to tell you. The S&P500 over the long term has consistently performed quite well, for many decades. Maybe if your picture of participating in the st

Other brokerages still have restrictions as well. I haven't been able to write a covered call against my AMC shares. Hopefully they let us "normal" traders start writing options next week, and the premiums remain relatively h

I'd guess that they (the "West" / US and its allies) hoped that Chinese billionaires would be more amenable to the "Washington consensus" / neoliberal policies than the CCP.

From what I recall, the K12 core was essentially the same micro-architecture as Zen, but with ARM instruction decoders. There were some vague statements that the ISA allowed some optimizations compared to the x86 version, but we never got t

It's not just the re-order buffer, the M1 also has 8-way decode (vs 4-way for Intel & AMD microarchitectures), and a 128 KiB L1D cache (vs 48 recently from Intel, and 32 from AMD), and that cache still has a 3-cycle latency. These
