I love Lyft. Sidecar feels sketchy every time I use it and Uber just seems ridiculously expensive in comparison. John, Logan and the guys have done a great job to make it feel like a friend is picking you up rather than some guy with a car

"The bald truth is learning to program is still hard, despite recent gains in accessibility" <- This. Regardless of all of the tools, you still have to work really really hard to be good. I guess that's true of everything. Even managing

Most effective for me have been Railscasts, building real projects and not just following the book. Learning on the job far surpasses the book as I'm actively engaged and not just following along on Rails (sorry, had to)

Once you realize that the clues are all in the errors and they're not just random bits of text, that's what sets you free and gives you the power to fix.

I'm a big fan of doing one tiny thing each day to get the ball rolling. Set that typeface you've been meaning to set or make that form submit to the database. You can't just commit your code and stop there, you've gotta keep going. Hopefull

One of the guys who built Bootstrap actually built Foundation previously when he was at Zurb. Blanking on his name right now.

I hope this makes some kind of a difference on my 2010 Air. 10.8 really destroyed the battery on this thing.

It's pretty simple, medium and higher end tech users are becoming more and more used to the convention and to start building something, I'd rather spend $10-200 rather than 10K-200K on a domain name. Along your point, I'm much more a fan of

I love what Betable's doing and I'm excited for their team. I took part in their first hackathon in SF a few weekends ago and built an app on their platform. The brilliant part of their business is that they're the casino. You give them the

Why are there so many of these tools but none of them truly nail it? Asana, Sprintly, Pivotal, Trello, Basecamp, the list goes on. Plus there's Google Docs. I wonder why there isn't a general consensus about one must-have tool. Are they all
