It depends on the situation but I pretty much agree. For example, sometimes coworkers will come up to me to discuss or ask something that'll take less than a minute. These minutes can add up to suck all the productivity out of your day

I use a lot of different methods to send money to friends. Venmo is by far the easiest, but I still commonly have to ask people to sign up for Venmo. Snapchat has tons of users. If this is just a new feature built-in, it's pretty easy

It's interesting. I signed up for Prime just for shipping. Now, I'm getting all these services "free". Granted, Prime's price increases here and there. But, because it's "free", it's easy for me

I completely agree with this. QR codes are cumbersome and I refuse to allow any app using with QRCs at its core to touch any of my money.

I also do inbox 0 the exact same way you do but sometimes it's not enough. For example, if an online retailer sends me promotions I don't care about, I'd like them to be auto-archived for when I actually feel like buying some

Google Cast sounds a bit too good to be true, just like the Chromecast was. I hated the Chromecast 'cause it simply didn't have enough content for me and the performance was terrible. I'll have to wait and see how the perform

A bit off topic but in the context of promises and Angular, I love the ability to set a set a promise for the timeout parameter. This is super valuable 'cause it lets me manually cancel any request instead of waiting for a response or

This was a pretty sad read. I JUST visited Container Park in Downtown Vegas this past weekend and it seemed to have a pretty good crowd with both locals and tourists. I do believe though that if it weren't for my knowledge of the proje

I just visited Container Park this past weekend. It certainly is a cool area with a lot of public space and I could tell locals were really enjoying themselves. It's kind of like Hayes Valley in SF (where Smitten is) if you know where

I never understood how Blackberry hardware designers can be so bad. I'm glad they realized that the keyboard is where the Blackberry shines but, a square design!? They should've stuck with something more similar to the Q10.

Wanting to watch one particular film doesn't define or capture cinephiles. The title is an exaggeration to say the least, especially if the movie isn't even available for rent at the many paid movie streaming service options avail

It's all over the place. A college dropout who starts a start-up as CTO then fails within the year will apply as a senior. But, it's one of those things where I don't judge a book by its cover in either direction. After talki

I wasn't trying to talk about why. I was trying to talk about how iPhone 6 seems to be winning over Android users (myself included) and those users are going to be replaced by millions of new users. But if you want to know why it'

I was tired of being left out. Indy games always release iOS first and sometimes don't even port to Android. Cool apps that come out like Hyperlapse are also iOS first. Even Google's own apps release features an iOS before Android

I am a long time Android user and recently pre-ordered an iPhone 6. Many people I know have done the same. But after reading this post, I don't think Google cares. They're aiming at getting a phone in the hands of millions without

I think at this point we can say that Amazon gambled w/ this device and lost the bet. This is simply not a device that consumers want. Lesson learned.

If I hit "snap to location", Google decides it needs to auto-zoom to a default zoom-level. It's annoying to have to re-zoom to whatever zoom level I'm actually interested in.

So now it's just like Venmo, except Venmo uses your checking account vs. your debit card which is really just a difference of security IMO. Also, losing as much as a quarter per transaction doesn't scale. At this point, Square see

Most of the comments here seems to be about the pricing. IMO if you're a small business, the pricing is fair. Yes, competition may be better/cheaper but keep in mind that Square is trying to create an entire platform here. They&#x

I like that they've released all resources. This means 3rd party apps could in turn apply these same layouts and principles, creating a consistent user interface where it won't matter as much how unintuitive it is.
