I can't fathom using LLMs like this. Does ChatGPT actually do this? I thought people who were into this stuff used dedicated apps or Grok?

I've been so disappointed in Apple's lack of execution on this. There is so much potential for fantastic local models to run and intelligently connect to cloud models. I just don't get why they're dropping the ball so mu

Probably right, but I'd rather be 1-2 years into figuring this out than starting now. I have a lot of traction and I've built up an audience.

I saw the writing on the wall when ChatGPT was first released. I'm a good 2 years into a pivot to become an online creator who makes weird web experiences and content. I am knee deep in a challange to build 25 projects in 25 weeks. I&#

It's been utterly bizarre to witness. I've used n8n for years and told everyone who would listen to give it a try, well before LLMs. Same for huginn the open source project. I just don't get all the hyper either. I think it&#

I have some inside knowledge here. When I was in college, I was very idealistic. I was in a special Greenpeace program where they took college students and trained them to become environmental activists. Picture a semester-long, hands-on tr

I strongly suspect we're like 4 more elegant algorithms away from a real AGI.

I've seen lots of suspiciously new accounts hoping into these conversations. Saying questionable things.

Strange times. I truly feel these are the last days of our Republic. Especially if more aren't willing to take a stand.

This has always struck me as such a strange monetization strategy. Do they actually make money off this?

He doesn't care about solar because it does nothing to boost his narcissism. Simple as that. He can't take credit for it. It doesn't boost his image. It's just a simple quiet thing sitting there working.

This is what I've been wanting! Just like those eGPUs you would plug into your Mac. You would have a big model or device capable of running a top-tier model under your desk. All local, completely private.

I've noticed this as well. It's kind of insane how hard it is to sign up for popular services.

I made this because I'm kind of tired of all the weird therapy phrases ChatGPT spits out. These are all directly from my export chats over the past two years. I made a small post about how I did it: https://thingsaisay.com&#

Oh wow, I never even thought about importing all my ChatGPT data. I guess for me a lot of tasks on a daily to-do list aren't things that can be done on the computer... So no virtual thing will be much help.

That's what I think will happen. Not just standards but taste and design as well. I think there's almost even more demand for good designers now than ever before. Why? VERY good design signals this is tasteful and quality. Not an

I use AI a LOT. OpenAI said I'm in the 1% of people using ChatGPT (bad thing imo). I use Claude and Codex all day long, building and shipping. But just do not get the Clawbot / OpenClaw hype at all. What are people doing with this

I agree with you on all of it. But _what if_ they work out all of that in the next 2 years and it stops needing constant supervision and intervention? Then what?

IMO this is the true root of the problem. You have two options: Android or iPhone. Apple simply has no financial incentive to fix anything. So I 100% agree, we need more competition. I was hopeful for a fleeting moment in time with the Fire
