Just tackle it by doing 30-60 minutes a day of self study. After a year you'll rack up hundreds of hours of studying. Keep that up for 10 years and you're at thousands of hours of studying. Plus all the experience on the job. That

I couldn't agree more. I'm a die hard fan. I started watching Stargate SG-1 when I was a kid in 1997 (season 1). I've seen ever single episode of every series. Every movie. All multiple times. I REALLY don't want to see

My ex girlfriend lived in Brazil for ~10 years and her job was running tours to the favelas. She told me there were fairly strict rules about this sort of thing. The gangs there cared about drugs and making money. As long as you weren'

Yup, I truly don't understand why people in tech are so against this. It will likely be a net positive for all tech folks. In Hollywood they have SAG (Screen Actors Guild) so a large union for high paying jobs isn't unheard of in

It's the one I've spent the least time at. Ok, that one I didn't live on, but I did visit. I didn't use WhatsApp there. I had to SMS / tweet with my satellite device.

It's comments like this, which reaffirm my fears of staying in this industry for too long. I'm only in my mid-30s but I'm deathly afraid to stick around to see what the mid-40s or 50s will be like.

Democracy relies on people being able to vote for what they think is right; with privacy. We removed senators right to vote for the right things in private in ~1970. After this things have gotten very bad in the US–policy wise. Polarization
