Oh yeah that would look cool… Possibly transparent faces of the cube with a particular `mix-blend-mode` that leaves the background color alone but dims letters that get behind it? (That's just a wild guess, I don't know if it'

Yeah this conversation feels very car-centric (understandably so, since much of the world and especially the US is currently overrun with cars, but still sad)

Exactly, almost everyone mentions awful commutes, but if you have a short walk or bikeride through a beautiful city to start and end your work day, then I think it's pretty great. (Even then I like flexibility to only go in ~3 days a w

I thought it was based on the Bush-ism "strategery" - https://stratechery.com/2013/strategery/ Or was that a later change?

The abstract answers this, I believe. Human-tron is 5x as massive! > ...a biomass of ∼12 megatons of dry carbon... equivalent to ∼20% of human biomass Honestly the unfathomable biomass of humans creeps me out more than the biomass of ant

Only just saw this comment, that's a great point! (Since the formula is two tetrahedra minus one triangle.) Now very curious why that shape corresponds to sum of cubes / why it's equivalent to a pyramid...

I bought it for 1500€ in 2014, when nic.st had a Black Friday sale. It was the only 3-letter domain I'd ever seen for sale, so I couldn't resist.
