The chargers and the car itself indicate whether it's charging or not. With the Chargepoint chargers mentioned in the article you can see if they are in-use or not online. But in-use just means plugged in, not drawing current. As an in

Great idea, that would be a good way to have more plug-in points. Since a big part of the problem is getting a large enough electrical service to the chargers. You could also have the amperage be higher for the first hour or so of charging

I agree with your point, but the "stop!" girl is a screen grab of Rachel McAdams from the movie Mean Girls. I think this is the most pedantic thing I've ever said.

Good idea, I'm looking into it. Just moving the hyphen over one word isn't enough. It probably needs to identify nouns and adjectives.

I find it funny that their examples of grids don't line up on the right side. It totally speaks to my experience with their grids.

I get a 500 when I go to the site. It seems like a bad omen for an article about your hosting setup.

Does it feel odd to anyone else that you click the "Request an invite" button and it doesn't ask who you are? Also nowhere on the page does it show my identity.

Great! This will come in handy for new projects. Unfortunately we had to create the same thing for our existing stuff.

So previously your private information went to Google/Samsung or HTC or Motorola/Your carrier, now it will go to Facebook/Google/Samsung or HTC or Motorola/Your carrier?

Oddly enough the weather in Oakland is slightly better than Berkeley because of the fog-break that SF provides.

If you are working in SF casual carpool is a great option for Oaklanders and is free. http://www.ridenow.org/carpool/

The tax situation for startups in Oakland is pretty similar to the incentives that SF created in mid-market. Office space is cheaper and more plentiful. There are less resources available like other startups, but they are only a 20 minute B

One of the benefits of Flights With Friends is that no one person has to pay for the tickets. Each member of the trip can buy their own and the cash shuffle doesn't even have to happen.

We've found that once people join the trip on Flights With Friends and one person books the others book as well. We notify the other members of the trip as soon as anyone books.

I think it is missing mentioning that these are home-based travel agents so that they have very few bookings in total for the year, but that there are many home-based travel agents.

MyRedis and Redis To Go are 64 bit according to redis-cli info, I'm looking into the others as well but I'm guessing they will all be 64 bit.
