Basically anything you do client-side falls into that category. If your code runs on my device, there's not much you can do to stop me from fiddling with it.

There's nothing better than actually writing some code in the language of choice. I'm also no fan of videos on the subject. A few helpful blog posts can however be great. My go to way of getting my feet wet is rewriting a library

The story I've been hearing is that the sole idea behind most chinese bikesharing companies outside of China is to move vast sums of money out of the country, even if that means dealing with quite a few losses. Obviously just a theory

Same idea as stealing them in Germany and selling them further east. You're not going to find buyers locally, and shipping a lot of stolen bikes to somewhere where you can offload them for cheap is probably a somewhat viable business.

Wasn't an iOS 11 jailbreak announced just the other day? I don't think the scene is dead at all, it's just that many of us who once used jailbreaks on every iOS version no longer do and don't follow those news anymore.

I wonder why people continue to refer to Telegram as an encrypted messenger. It offers transport encryption, sure, but I'm not aware of any messenger that doesn't (thank god). Telegram's actually end-to-end encrypted chats ar

Yeah, you're right. They mostly are a thing now, at least in bigger stores (as in chains). But I do have a feeling Germany is one of the last countries where there's loads of stores where cash is the only accepted option.

Ha, you should visit Germany. Apple Pay doesn't even exist here [0]. Contactless payments with debit cards are slowly becoming a thing, but that seems to be the height of it. [0] http://isapplepayavailableingermanyyet.com

Seems to go for almost all issues regarding Apple. I've been reporting that calculator bug since iOS 9, with updates for several betas that it's still there. Two years later someone with a significant following on Twitter writes a

I assume this is in reference to using the builtin macOS keychain? It syncs just fine to iOS as well if you use iCloud Keychain. That's obviously not possible with Android, but you don't necessarily need a 3rd party password manag

I've only recently gotten back to using Wire and am really loving it so far. Looks like they're doing everything correctly. Well implemented end-to-end encryption, cross-platform support and everything is open source. On top of th

iOS 11's animoji are most definitely something custom with an image fallback, like everything embedded in iMessage and won't be able to be used elsewhere. They share nothing with emoji but the image inspiration and name.

How would FaceID be used to authenticate In-App-Purchases? Currently it's a finger on the home button, but I'd be somewhat scared if looking at the screen is all that's necessary to confirm a purchase. I'm pretty sure a
