I think that "pay as you want" means that you can pay if you want, or you can just take it for free.

The music player can play youtube videos directly, and it's faster/easier to use seperate app for browsing/searching videos.

Flash runs just as well on my nokia n900 as it does on desktop, So I don't think the problem is at adobes end. Of course, I don't even remember when was the last time I actually needed to use flash (on mobile or on desktop).

I just tested, and sporcle.com works well on Symbian. Does blackberry have it's own version of opera too?

I would assume that the printer was meant just as an example of the problem (which is that new releases may break things that used to work). That said, I've been using Ubuntu as my main OS for about 2 years and I've never had any real probl

The bug report was already submitted, and it is classified as "high priority". The author wasn't complaining about the printer not working; he was complaining that the bug wasn't fixed (and that it shouldn't have been let to the system in t

Naturally. If you remove half of a product while keeping the same price, it's bound to be overpriced. Software isn't free (unless it is free...).

I haven't read anything else from him, but at least that post didn't say anything about Nexus One. But it did say "I played with my wife’s iPhone for just a few minutes before I knew I had to have an iPhone". That post didn't give any reaso

But unless I missed something, amnesia doesn't have anything to do with the subject. In this case you don't forget what you did 10 minutes ago; you forget what you did 80 years ago (which I suppose most people do anyway).

But how would that solve the problem of automatic cross-platform installation of a tool required by the emacs package? As I see it, the problem is in automating step 5. I guess you can find out the installed package manager in linux somehow

Emacs is cross-platform. It would be kinda hard for them to start using system specific package managers (remember that windows exists too). And anyway, this is meant for installing emacs extensions, not software for whatever system you're

I don't really get that idea from the code.google.com. It looks to me rather like microsoft, but with cleaner design. Both have the search bar at the top, navigation bar on left and news/announcements at the center and on the right. Neither

You seem to forget Maemo. Of course it doesn't have Google to do the marketing, but other than that I don't see why Android would be any better than it.

I've had Nokia E71 for over a year now and I've never had any problems with the keyboard. And it's not a sliding keyboard (it's more blackberry like), so it has a lot smaller keys than this one.
