Very much agree, Maxwell. Worked on this fork of elasticlunr.js for that purpose: https://github.com/kickscondor/elasticlunr.js

You get it. <3 I get a good number of Github issues with people who want it to act like a normal reader. So there is good reason that most RSS readers act like an inbox. It's just a general expectation.

Fraidycat 2 is going to offer a desktop service you can use from mobile. It won’t be here till later in the year tho, since I’m busy with another project at the moment. Extensions are nice because of the low effort to install and try out. B

Hallooo - this is my project. Glad to offer any help. Thanks for looking in. Also having a connection issue with both Twitch and TikTok unfortunately right now. Will update here when I have it solved. UPDATE: The TikTok and Twitch issue is

Ok you’ve convinced me - thank you for taking the time to explain in detail! At least on Show HN posts, I now see that this is rude. Apologies to the original author and thank you for the helpful tone.

I agree that I'm stretching it here - personal directories are my personal niche and definitely something that I'm seeing everywhere - even in this little link-sharing tool. But I figure that I'll put the thought out there an

Another great example of how miniature personal directories are experiencing a comeback. * https://tray.club - like this, but allows subpages and notes areas. * https://gossipsweb.net - pay $1 to be in this directory

Beaker also supports regular web links - but Brave also supports Tor websites. However, Beaker has its own extended web API and tooling. You can fork websites, edit them - and you can script this functionality. (For example, I have a wiki s

I think there is a lack of imagination here. Perhaps a "social graph" shouldn't belong to any company. The concept itself might be anti-privacy. Perhaps it's time to move back to simpler things like OPML. (Which people s

Ok - next question then: why do browsers block self-signed certs? If Lets Encrypt now allows any domain to get a cert, what's the harm in a self-signed cert? Seems like a step up from plain HTTP.
