I used Calculus (4th edition) by Larson, Hostetler, and Edwards for my calc 1 and 2 courses and I would not recommend it for independent study. Consider Calculus by Briggs and Cochran instead ( http://www.amazon.com/Calculus-Early-Transcen

I've failed to prevent people from getting caught up on the less important parts. Okay, how about this: MS Excel is a product that accomplishes a certain set of objectives for a great number of people. Suppose the title of this thread were

I like this book: http://www.amazon.com/Introduction-Philosophy-James-White/dp... It has a collection of smaller readings so you don't get bored and/or get confused getting through a 500 page tome on your first go. The subjects covered ar

Overly dramatic title. AT&T sent me a text message when my 2.2 phone had a 2.3 update available. The instructions were clear with screenshots of every step, so the only thing needed is about 30 minutes of one's time.
