(work at cloudflare but not on the same team as the blog author) I believe the FIFO/LIFO refers to the queue of processes waiting to receive a request. Since each process calls accept()/epoll(), then loops around and call it again

Mandarin is _NOT_ the Han dialect of Chinese. Each region has its own dialect and while they are not taught in school (mostly due to central government's policy), regional dialects are often spoken at home. Source: I grew up in Hong Ko

The chrome embedding is in theory cross browser compatible. Firefox nightly supports the API. It's still possible for the embedding app to hardcode to chrome (which the Google app seems to do) but the Android developer page recommends

I use "No Title Bar" gnome extension and "Tab center redux" plus userChrome.css to move the tab bar to the side. The top side is actually quite compact.

not to diminish the rest of your argument, but my understanding is that java apps should be smaller than native apps (not significantly, since a huge part of apps' storage requirement is for assets, not code)
