My copy of the book has a foreword by Le Guin where she said something along the lines of being very emotional about current day politics (current at the time of writing) when she wrote the book, and that she was not trying to be nuanced. T

Thanks, taking a look. We just moved it to new infrastructure and we're still working out the kinks. Edit: should be fixed, let me know if there are more issues.

Congratulations on launching, it's nice to see more open source products in this area (I work on https://mathesar.org/ ). Feel free to reach out if you'd like to talk and compare notes.

You're welcome! I'm very glad to see Ultorg both generally available and on the HN front page, you've built such a cool interface.

This is what we're trying to do with Mathesar ( https://github.com/centerofci/mathesar ). We probably don't meet your needs yet because we don't support real-time concurrent editing, but we're activel

I've been working on managing my anxiety for several years, and my productivity has been getting worse as my anxiety lessened (which was counterintuitive to me). That's how I ended up figuring out I might have ADHD.

I'm a high-C person who was recently diagnosed with ADHD. In my case, I was compensating for ADHD symptoms with extreme anxiety, which eventually became unsustainable.

I’m pretty familiar with the Meet UI thumbs up feature and this was not it. The other person didn’t take any action other than making a actual thumbs up with their hand. They were confused by the visual as well and it distracted us from the

This happened to me in a recent work meeting, we were using Google Meet and suddenly the video had a huge animated thumbs up emoji dancing across the screen.

I'm always amazed that people have so many opinions to begin with. My default for most things is "I don't know enough about that to have an opinion".

Our basement is somewhat humid so we do use dessicant. We use packets that change color when they absorb moisture [1] and they change color pretty rapidly, even in the airtight container. I keep meaning to rotate them for fresh packets reg

I've had to deal with this a lot and here are some things I did: - Upgraded all my bookshelves (from 5-shelf bookshelves to slightly wider 7-shelf bookshelves) - Bought more bookshelves for wherever there was wall space - Bought a bunc
