In my area linkedin is quite important. However, I have been frustrated with their service for a while now. One thing I really hate is that every change to my profile propagates to my whole network and to the headhunters. I am ok with spamm

What about markdown? As long as the service is new, I would be scared of having my CV depended on your app. Yes, I know LaTeX, I also know it's a pain to set up if you are applying "non standard" formatting. By the way, I don

If we stay in Europe, you can see what you just described in the last 70ish year of Italian history.

@pc, I didn't know that. Well, what I said still applies anyway ;) But hey, let me say I only looked into Paymill because you guys were not around.

I disagree. Do you know who is going to buy stripe? No. You could very well end up in worst hands. At least with Paymill you are clear on what you get. We have seen their execution already.

Nice try. Not my choice to work with Excel 2003 although. Also, I hate the ribbon interface.

Hi, I asked them few questions and they seemed quite professional. Very German, asking for lots of paper, but that kind of make me feel safer. And let's stop with this clone thing. If we are a community striving for execution, we shoul

Except I am on Excel 2003. The company is slowly moving to 201x although (can't remember the version, the email subject was "digital toolbox" and thus I directly deleted it).

Let me rant on something here. I work in finance, Excel is my everyday. We do a lot of manual monkey work (copy pasting stuff around a lot), when we "automate", we use the adamant (can't find a better word) VBA. Now, you see

Kudos guys. I have been following MakeLeaps for the past year and half and it's impressive to see how fast and wisely you have been building up the product. What I really like is that you understand the business needs very well, which

When you need to study 30 plus income statements from 30 plus entities around the globe, you wonder less about the tools and more about getting it done. Then you become a "spreadsheet monkey", but that is only because nobody has b

Any reason why you guys went rambo building on top of werkzeug instead of, say, django or flask? Serious questions. I love the project.

I am not looking at the overall tax burden, I am looking at the margin. If 1000 of salary increase brings you 350, the incentive of being "ambitious" is drastically reduced. I agree with you on universities, but they do not foster

I lived in Denmark 1.5 years. I do not know how the country is managing things so well given that: 1. Taxes are ridiculous (my friend is in the 65% bucket, sixty five, after 2 years of work experience). 2. There is a huge amount of people l
