i really don't see how AlgorithmClass().WithXValue(10.0) .WithYValue(20.0) .WithEtc(...) .Run(); is any better than Algorithm(x=10.0, y=20.0, etc=...) the ar

If LDL-c correlated with LDL-p, those two metrics would have been similarly good as CVD predictors, but they aren’t, LDL-c is basically useless. (Don’t have sources atm, can link later if you’re interested)

There is plenty of research, but here’s more consumable version: https://peterattiamd.com/the-straight-dope-on-cholesterol-pa... The whole series is a gold mine tbh

I find it strange that research of this scale is looking exclusively at a compound metric. TC is HDL (apo A-I), LDL, VLDL, IDL (apo B) and few more things. Its different proportions of these things that define how healthy your cardiovascula

Yeah, the idea is to reduce distribution unit to single function, you could technically do that with any language, some are just better fit I guess.

You’re right that number of blocks until transaction is considered safe is arbitrary but you can’t just arbitrarily raise this number to compensate for lower difficulty because interval between blocks is 10 minutes and so in effect you’re r

Value follows difficulty because difficulty is valuable in itself - it is a measure of security of bitcoin ledger.

This is not bitcoin specific argument. You can apply this logic to pretty much everything on this planet and it’ll fit. My argument was never “bitcoin has supporters therefore it has value”, it’s “bitcoin provides security for your wealth a

All you need to say is sensible argument. Please present it but also be ready to admit that you may be wrong. If your argument against bitcoin is just ad hominem, painting all bitcoin supporters as nutjob shills - don’t bother.

All of these affect one another but there isn’t clear and strict causal relationship or ordering. Value follows difficulty but also difficulty follows value.
