Great read. I particularly noted The takeaway? If you’re launching a consumer product, technical superiority doesn’t automatically translate to cultural impact. In the battle for attention, a memorable vibe often beats a better benchma

Potentially a very dumb question, but seeing the difference between cyclones and hurricane on earth (clock-wise, anti-clock-wise)... Does it mean that we are, potentially, on one of two poles(?) of the observable universe, if we're obs

I like the fact that it turns the console into a controller and an interesting one at that with both hands separated. However the OG is just a good looking device, there is no need for this.

I've said this many times, snow leopard is still my favourite OS today. If you could add iMessages to it, although not necessary, it would be perfect. Of course today it would be insecure, missing security patches etc. SSL...

Maybe something worth exploring, run it like an inverted generational garbage collector. Separate the problematic domains and run them in a lower priority background crawl; then do the opposite as well, have a higher priority list for crawl

I remember using Blender when everyone was saying how terrible of a UX it was. They've turned it around and it's become a default-first for many artists. Open source of not, it of course helps, that the competition charges absolut

I'm new to "MCP"... It says here that even IDE plug into this MCP server [1], as in you don't edit files directly anymore but go through a client/server? It wasn't bad enough that we now run servers locally to

Aside: is there a term to define the developers that use these kinds of cutesie graphics? Seems to be a real movement, I'm older, and I seem to have missed the memo. Where did that start and is there some history behind why?

9.9 is larger than 9.11. This right here is the perfect example of the dunning-kruger effect. Maybe try rephrase your question to "which version came later, 9.9 or 9.11".
