There's a valid point in this, but the article seems to miss it when he says "In fact, if I hear the caller telling me personal details about myself, I hang up even faster." On the contrary, that's perfectly valid. They've already partially

I'm not sure what the internal thinking at Facebook is, but I suspect the hierarchy is something like: 1. Advertisers 2. Real users 3. Social media marketing scum If they think most users would prefer not to see 10 posts per day after accid

Fine, but don't call it a gratuity. Call it a service fee. "Mandatory gratuities" make me look for another service provider.

I have to agree. The question hinges on how the interviewee interprets the game being played in the interview. The interviewer seems to be offering the original instructions (explain something to me in five minutes) "out of character" and t

If you can't waive your rights, you can't even settle out of court. That's what a settlement is -- an agreement to waive right to due for some payment.

The distinction of malware is about who is being deceived. If a user willing installs on their own computer A some software to attack someone else's computer B, that's not malware. If a user installs something on their computer that allows

Downvoted for most blatant use of "malware" to mean "stuff someone doesn't like" as opposed to software that runs without the computer owner's permission or does things other than it claims.

I'd really like to be able to model the effects of rebalancing to a static or tactical asset allocation, but it seems that the only strategies that matter to the technical camp is thresholds based on trailing n days moving average.
