There might be something to this. I quit lifting weights when I cancelled my gym membership right before the pandemic started. But I did notice a difference in how good my hands/wrists felt during the ~12 months I was lifting. I’ve tra

I think so, but I’ve been using a vertical mouse and a Kinesis keyboard for so many years now that I’m not even sure what’s really helping any more :)

Work out and lift weights. But ergonomically speaking I use a Kinesis Advantage 2 keyboard and a Logitech MX Vertical mouse. You may also need a long break to heal, which might not be an option if you're American. An engineer from Germ

Manjaro + KDE. Rolling releases keep KDE and everything else up to date. We'll see how much longer I use this setup. I've gravitated towards it lately because I have it installed on my desktop, which despite being 5 years old is s

I had a MK6 GTI and I loved it. Once VW has worked the kinks out of their electric platform I'll definitely take a look at them again.

Too bad it has that numpad instead of a centered keyboard. Also I don't understand why a laptop of that size doesn't have a 99Wh battery. The 1080p resolution is understandable... high DPI support suck-fest can be avoided.

Huh, turns out I often highlight passages as I'm reading them without realizing it, and this website has text that is literally unreadable while highlighted. https://i.imgur.com/qutKE65.png

Hmm, I wonder when this policy started. I did not have to prove ownership of the domains for the coordinates I use, though I do happen to own them.

In the early days of iPhone I would upgrade roughly every 2 years. Now it's more like 3-4 years. My most recent upgrade was from iPhone 8 to iPhone 12 Pro. The difference in camera quality is striking.

I think he means if everyone on AT&T experiencing the issue ran trace route to example.com some common hops would emerge, which would be a place to start investigating.

Are we talking about different things? ASN.1 does more or less what I was hoping Kaitai can do. Where's the breakthrough? I just want to be able to describe network protocols in some "language" and generate code that can seri

If you’re looking for a 13” I’d hold out for the Thinkpad X1 Nano, which is going to have a nice 16:10 anti-glare IPS screen as an option.

Yes, I have a dedicated room in my 3/2 house that I use as my office. Even before the pandemic I worked from home two days every week, so I was already set up for remote work.

Yes, and that excellent commit would make an excellent PR all on its own. It’s entirely self-contained and should not be lumped in with some other change, so there is no reason it would be squashed in the first place.

Sealed classes also mean you don't have to play visibility tricks with your API to prevent an abstract class or interface from being inherited and can safely publish everything as part of your API without worry.

Maybe I'm just a grumpy old (30-something...) developer now, but I'd prefer not to see emoji in commit messages. It seems unprofessional. I really don't even like seeing those stupid READMEs full of them.
