There's another article from the Guardian on the NSA regarding Tor in the #6 slot on HN. This is in the #3 position. I think you're overestimating the impact. Edit: This article is now in the #1 position. Flagging isn't hurti

It looks like yet another controller with some special, device-specific features (advanced haptic feedback) that will only be supported by their first-party games and a few novelty ones. I wouldn't buy one before trying it.

I switched to DuckDuckGo for search for one of the reasons you listed - Google felt the need to guess what I was thinking and it felt like, most of the time, it was getting it wrong ( especially with synonym search). One of DuckDuckGo'

Neither her nor the other person should have been fired for this. People calling for them to be fired have been acting irresponsibly.

Can we not obsess about this like reddit is doing? This is entirely tangential to the purpose of this site. One article about this is more than enough.

It's pretty cool to see the source of this. Back when I used to play Starcraft I primarily played UMS maps (custom game modes) and several of them were based on using "bugs" in the game engine to surmount situations that appeared impossible

I lost respect for Wikileaks when they started editorializing their releases. Most notably the "Collateral Murder" video. I want to be able to form conclusions for myself without being told what I should think every step of the way. Assange

It's amusing because the opposites of some of these are things that bother me about Java. Having everything in one file? Messy. Not having categories? Sad. @optional is nice if you want to be able to degrade to a default case. Scoping is

You can fire someone for owning a gun in most states. Gun owners aren't a protected class except for Missouri where a law was recently passed to make them one, despite no known cases of someone firing an employee for gun ownership. Interest

I'm disappointed that none of the devs of games in HIBs have open-sourced their games since the first one. It was always fun to have a glimpse at the code. I guess the Lugaru source fiasco[0] may have discouraged other devs from open-sourci

Posting an article on a website isn't sensitivity. It just lets people gawk. Despite what pg says, this article does not belong on Hacker News. This has absolutely no relation to hacking in general. There are a multitude of sites that will
