It depends, if it’s slow enough you’ll end up with a hybrid culture that has parts of both.

I mean can’t you still have ads based on the response?

What world do you live in where 50 year old men don’t want 20 year old wives?

Google already has lambda. I bet they’re full steam ahead on making that work with search. As a side note, I think Sundar is a perfect CEO for a time like this. He’ll do whatever it takes to get the future lined up without injecting a lot o

Is this supposed to be a lot? I used to get 50% bonuses on my base (which was already high) when I worked on Wall St.

Use chatGPT to build a skeleton of ideas. DO NOT USE anything directly but as a starting point to maybe get you jump started again.

You’re nuts, I use it to generate all my employee reviews, props etc. I used it to come up with high level interview questions. I used it to generate a JD. I used it to write a podcast. I could not disagree with you more. It’s… smart and wi

It won’t because this is a decent redesign. Love the contents on the left. Maybe a bit to much padding but it does aid readability. If anything I might increase the max width on the text a bit.

Out of those redesigns, the worst was Reddit and I still use the old version. It’s so much more info dense, much less forced engagement, easier to look at and browse etc.

This is basically the Hindu belief system where you can reincarnate into any of those life forms depending on your karma in your previous life.

How do you make the max-width apply permanently to a website on chrome?

I don’t see why not? I did point out it’s an exaggerated analogy but a hostile nation having a direct propaganda line of access to a nation’s youth can potentially be used destructively.

You got to start somewhere and normalize it.

Because that’s why we still have a society. You can’t put the ability to launch nuclear missiles in a freely distributed app so consider this a less exaggerated version of that restriction.

Okay so in addition to the above, use a burner and change your MAC address. “Lojacks” on laptops is still mostly pretty unheard of.

Probably. If you use a laptop once, on a public Wi-Fi hundreds of miles from where you live, while not being caught on surveillance, while using a stripped down privacy based OS, and then route yourself through Tor, you might be okay.

No, single mothers is very destructive to society especially when there’s no male role model for sons.

That’s in most places, it’s biological as there’s a very short window to have kids past that point and even then the kids are exposed to increased risks for a host of health issues.

Doesn’t the average house use 30kwh per day. So you’d need one of these per 2-3 houses. At 5000 kg that doesn’t sound reasonable.

That’s because you’re running tortoise on a CPU. It does about a sentence a minute on my 3090 gpu. It’s also quite good if you pick “high quality” and train it with 10 sec clips at the framerate and bitrate it asks for.

Definitely, async has its place and it’s for long term documentation. Most daily things in engineering do not fall into that bucket in my experience.

Async is the most inefficient bullshit ever. Something that takes 30 seconds to say takes 5 mins to write and another 10 mins to parse and that’s if there are no further questions.
