I don't know when the first Kotlin Android app was published, but Kotlin 1.0 was released in 2016 and then announced as a first class language at Google I/O in 2017.

Android Studio is based on IntelliJ and there's a lot of collaboration between both teams. The adoption of Kotlin was a logical next step, considering a lot of IntelliJ is written in Kotlin.

Why are you using an alternate alias to reply to me? Did you get confused and mix up your aliases? I just have one.

Now you're attacking me in replies you're not even part of? You should seek mental health help as you don't seem like a very well person.

You seem to be very troubled to resort to such childish attacks because my opinion differs from yours. You've presented no evidence that you have any internal knowledge of Fuchsia.

Android uses Fluoride - which coincidently has now come to ChromeOS. And yes, they named the migration "Project Floss". https://chromeos.dev/en/posts/androids-bluetooth-stack-fluor...

Considering how you mangled the name of the OS, I have a hard believing you're remotely familiar with the internals of Fuchsia.

The Android Virtualization Framework (AVF) [0] includes crosvm support, so you can run virtually any OS you want. An Android engineer has also done a POC running ChromeOS on Android [1]. [0] https://source.android.com/docs&#x

I don't believe that. Apple is in the driver's seat in this negotiation. I believe OpenAI wanted Apple as a jewel in their crown and bent over backwards to get them to sign. I don't see how OpenAI makes any money off of this,

And why wouldn't it be? The strain on Microsoft servers and the free use of their resources by iOS users with very little, if any, in return is a win for Apple. Not so much for OpenAI or Microsoft.

I disagree. There are a lot of uses for an iCloud locked iPhone, such as a music player, podcast player, security camera, etc. Edit: I should clarify that the embedded video clearly showed that a number of the iPhones she had were still abl

It depends on the functionality of the app. I'd choose Flutter so that I could port to multiple platforms with one code base. But, if it was a camera app like Kino then, of course, I would pick 1 platform.

I download a lot of iOS apps using AppRaven and I can tell you that 95% of them are extremely poorly designed from a UI perspective - I'd even call them ugly. A lot of them don't even follow Apple's UI guidelines.
