You might want to add IRC channels also, e.g.: #freelance #css-lance and ##php-lance on irc.freenode.net where people hang around for chat, if they are for hire. I often hire for small problems by IRC chat. Just join the right channel to as

I'm still missing a normal round power plug, as the ramshackly micro USB draws much more power then the allowed 500mA. Also Ethernet is still connected via USB, and horrible slow.

A good part of Netherlands is below sea level. Just build dikes like the Dutch, and the problem is solved. But I guess the people in Miami would protest against those dikes, when their houses are no longer water front, but behind a dike.

We did make a free beer mobile application in 1999, when cell phones had been still big, called Happy Hopper. The idea of the service was: You send an SMS to our server, we send you an SMS back to a pub in town, together with a riddle to so

Sometimes one does not want the shell to log a command. In this case use: export HISTCONTROL=ignorespace or better export HISTCONTROL=ignoreboth Now every command that starts with a space wont be logged into history.

Its allowed to hunt swans in Germany. Several thousand swans are shoot here. And they taste fine. So I guess the claim that people in US dislike eating swans still comes from their English heritage, where swans had been royal game only.

True. A dog is a good reminder that its time for a break. A dog forces you to take a walk 3 to 5 times a day, regardless if its sunny, raining or storm. This certainly has also a health benefit.
