It's way too open to hacking and anyway it's a racing sports not a popularity contest so I think the FIA would make a HUGE mistake in getting the crowd to determine (or influence) the outcome of the race.

This really is the driving force of the filmmaker and I really can't blame him for ignoring his neighbour after having listened to her on so many occasions... It's not like he was insensitive towards her but as humans we all have

What I find shocking is life insurance companies paying out the family of the insured if he/she commits suicide. As far as I know, there is no such clause on life insurance contracts in the Europe (and I believe the U.S. as well). Sure

I am going to play devil's advocate here. I was not born into a rich family (although we were not living in indigence either) so maybe my arguments will carry more weight. The way I see it is that the world is unfair. If I were to make

Carl Icahn must be a very upset activist investor now. I wish Michael Dell can improve Dell's figures - I think they do make very solid hardware but their profit margin in the consumer space are just too thin. They either need to push

I read Down And Out In Paris and London and would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a detailed account of how it was (and probably still is) to be poor at Orwell's time. I believe The Road To Wigan Pier must be quite similar alt

Is the Go GC Collector not good enough so you have to resort to this? Would be good if you had the option (like in Java) to specify heap min and max sizes - and if set to the same value your heap would never resize.

That's why I believe one should always try to minimize his ego and embrace the kind of humility a curious kid has. I know that I am good at what I do but I keep being curious and waiting to be told "You're wrong. this is the

How is that a counterpoint? It only shows covers of romance novels where the men look muscular and the women pretty. If men paid less attention to looks than female why are there so many arguably good looking women with so many arguably pl

With so many millionaire/wealthy hackers in California it is not so abnormal. Plus Tesla being based in this region they probably benefit from the proximity and the Silicon Valley Pride effect. Now I'd be really interested to see

I still find it hard to accept that FIFA is now better than Pro Evo. Not that I was a die hard fan of the latter, but I honestly never thought EA would make so much efforts to polish their game and topple Konami by the same occasion.
