The amount of comments I got on my video quality once I set up my mirrorless with proper lights is insane. Nobody cares until they see someone with production quality video and they notice right away. It makes a difference. It's like i

A low end mirrorless camera is a fantastic webcam -- the only problem is it's clunky to set up that way especially on the software end. If you made one that's plug and play I would buy it.

I was thrilled to see Lumina and bought one. I unfortunately ended up having to returning due to a combination of buggy software and image quality that was no better than my laptop built in webcam. I really wanted to love it… but in practic

I am personally thrilled to see a company stand up to cancel culture and political employee activism. The ridiculous non-work related distractions from employee on various political crusades we've been seeing at many companies like Goo

That's complete BS. Swine flu was a full blown pandemic barely a decade a ago and HIV is still ongoing one.

Not counting the current ongoing pandemic, the last pandemic was 2009/10's swine flu pandemic, which went on to infect 20%+ of the world's population and kill 1M+.

>The idea to get rid of having to trust centralized organizations might sound tempting, but it doesn’t work: Blockchains don’t get rid of “trust”, they just change, who has to be trusted. I see this argument against crypto a lot. It'

They tried that in 1989. Might want to look up what happened in Tiananmen Square.

For all intents and purposes, HK is not China. BioNTech shots were only available in HK, and not in mainland China, and data from HK's recent outbreak shows very clearly the Sinovac vaccine is an order of magnitude less effective than

Indeed, that was exactly the issue in Hong Kong and when the likelihood of having this happen in HK with the mandatory tests and rising cases started to skyrocket, that's when I left to go take refugee outside the madness. Ironically,

I mean, sure, among the parents. Plenty of people in Asia love relationships for the same reasons young people do in the West: sex, money, status, comfort, etc. -- without needing an end goal of launching families. The main difference is a

Sometimes, war is necessary and early action prevents a far worse outcome. You could argue that if Hitler had been dealt with earlier (e.g. when he invaded Poland), he would not have been able to get started causing such a rampage. But fear

It's not. Check the statistics in Hong Kong, where hardly anyone died of they were boosted with the BioNTech vaccine, vs almost all the deaths occurring in unvaccinated or Sinovac vaccinated people.

Luckily for me, I have an Apple watch I wear on special occasions only (if I go somewhere too shady to wear the real Omega, or in rough waters since my butterfly clasp is a little loose and has a tendency to come undone in water), and every

I think the point is that you're not paying for the branding, you're getting a watch with an Omega logo for 5% of what it'd normally cost you.

I didn't mean the entire image would be in focus, just that your subject would be clear. A faster aperture will let in more light, so you will not need as long an exposure to get the same amount of detail. It can make a meaningful diff

You're definitely going to get a better shot from a f/1.8 lens in low light than a cellphone camera, even vs night mode on iPhone. If you just set it on a stable surface you can take exposures >10" and have it come out cry
