It's a simple case of the OP having an opinion -- remote working isn't necessarily the be all/end all solution neither is working on site. I see why the OP would want to complain about how most companies out there don't encourage remoting b

I have seen the same wing bending test for the A380 at the Airbus factory in Chester. It is jaw-dropping. The engineers have to climb into the wing to fit rivets and electrical wires. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes to crawl to the spot the

Agreed, I fail to glean from the article how people "got scammed". Were they told Apple stocks would continue to rise? what I would like to find out is whether they were market making and hedging what they were selling to their clients or r

You're right about how feeling guilty is counterproductive. Personally I tend to feel guilty all the time so I have to do the opposite -- sometimes it's not really my fault/it's all in the head. Like Buddhism, it's about balance. Too much o

This is a cat and mouse game. If enough websites out there use this technique then there will be bots that can circumvent this, although some non-trivial amount of work is needed to parse the javascript.

Looking at their VPS offerings, their 512MB package with 2 TB traffic costs 6.49 euros (~8.4 dollars) per month. Linode's 512MB offering is at 19.99 dollars. The only upside I can see so far with Linode is you get 20 GB of storage instead o

I like the idea and congratulations on your first app. My only criticism about the landing page are some of the superlatives put me off slightly (e.g. Foreman Switches Your Apps Quickly _and It's Amazing_) -- I wonder if other people got th

I also agree, although instead of Backbone I recently found that Twitter Bootstrap's javascript files offer similar insights as to how to structure code in an javascript-style object oriented manner. For example: https://github.com/twitter

And even if it happens for every create, the fact that the author had to do so much more work just to make something like this work is a sign that Model callbacks may not be the best solution.

Nice work ashraful. The interface looks great and is easy to use. Just one small suggestion for improvement: could you make the mouse cursor to be a pointer when hovering over the rows of videos?

Really wanted to try this out, but I still can't get the preview of the new features -- it just says "coming soon". I'm in the UK and have MSDN subscription. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Great positive response from the OP -- I saw the critique on the idea at the start of today and already he has made a reply that gracefully deflects most of the criticisms raised about the idea. Most of us are probably aware by now that som

Can't say it is a douche move from GH since they are protecting their users' best interests. The facts are: Egor has a way to cause damage to GH. I don't think GH would sit there wondering whether he would do the ethical thing. _If_ somethi
