crate-type = ["cdylib"] sounds really interesting! "With this PR a "hello world" cdylib is 7.2K while the same dylib is 2.4MB, which is some nice size savings!" [1] 1. https://github.com/rust-la

I really like how the parser is implemented [1]. Very straightforward and readable even to a Rust amateur like I am. Are there any more open source languages of similar nature, using Rust? 1. https://github.com/Marwes/g

I am a fan of the literate programming style for personal projects. For a very well executed and interactive example check out http://dave.kinkead.com.au/modelling-the-boundary-problem/

James Long is currently playing with call/cc in JavaScript [1]. He mentioned a paper titled "Exceptional Continuations in JavaScript" [2], that describes the method he used in his implementation. Maybe you should get in touch

No I am not comfortable with C++ code. I was under the impression that JS along with QML was a viable option, guess I was mistaken.

I have never used Qt, and I feel like I have missed out. What concise sources would be recommended for someone with a Web development background, in order to start with Qt?

Mithril is really nice, I've been following its progress since the beginning. If I had to use a framework, Mithril would be my first choice. lichess.org is a very busy application built around Mithril.

Out of curiosity, what tools are you referring to that are nicer on ES6 and not applicable to LS? Could you give examples?

You should check out runtime.js [1] if you haven't. Instead of duktape it uses v8. I'd like to see an equivalent project using spider monkey so that C/C++ code could be compiled into efficient JS. Check out this speech if you

Great news! Node.js could greatly benefit from more reimplementations of its native modules. I had implemented the `fs.readdir` module in C and saw some good performance gains (it was a hackish experiment I did some time ago and can't

The cost of transpiling es2015 isn't very visible here, because the "vanilla es6 TodoMVC" example used [1] doesn't rely heavily on ES6 only features, such as generator functions etc., that aren't just sugar on top
