What program do you use to annotate PDFs? I have a Lenovo thinkpad with wacom support, but I haven't found a good piece of software to sign PDFs with.

Same. And it doesn't let me enter in my postal code to check the math (it says Postal Code, but the validator only accepts US zip codes)

That's awesome. I've been looking into doing something like this a couple years ago.

That seems like a great idea, but I can't help but think it'll go the way of Mega*. We'll pay for a year+ subscription, and then the feds will raid them.

This does happen. Take Dota 2 for example. Valve makes money from people watching games live, as well as from selling in-game merchandise, such as hats, and armor.

I use almost the exact same setup, but with an Ouya instead of the RP. I could get an Ouya shiped to me next day via Amazon Prime, and installing it from the store was a breeze. The UI is also really smooth. I've also plugged in a chea

I think we have the easiest time possible with Cavirtex... Also, there's a bitcoin ATM in Downtown Vancouver, if you are in the area.

Is there a reason that they didn't use the HTML5 placeholder attribute for their input fields? Maybe I'm a little OCD, but it bugs me when I'm able to select the word "Password" in password boxes.

Perhaps this should be a problem that can be done for you automatically per commit? (via a commit hook or something)

The thing that keeps me on Linux (mostly), is the ability to use alt+drag (I actually re-bind this to Win+drag) to move and resize windows without having to move my mouse to the title bar, or to the thin edges of the windows. I can just use

I can last hit OK with a trackball (after some getting used to, thanks to RSI), but edge scrolling is difficult. With two trackballs, perhaps one of the wheels can be used for moving the screen, and the other for moving the mouse. They'

Or maybe it's because Linux users tend to be software developers, who are mostly quite well off due to the industry right now.

That's actually curious -- studies have shown that people from more collectivist cultures don't tend to make the fundamental attribution error, such as places like East Asia, and the former USSR states. This game is massively popu

I'll vouch for the awesomeness of this exact laptop as well. I run linux in a VM inside it, though. It's small, the resolution/screen is great, and has everything I need. I also upgraded the RAM and put in an SSD.

Yeah I hated that about Win8 as well. As downgrading seemed like too much of a hassle, I recently found out that you have to use Win+W to search settings. Why they separated settings and applications is beyond me.

Honestly, if this can run Steam's Big Picture (in Windows, I guess), I'm sold. Watching Dota 2 using the in-game client on a TV would be great.

That's not true, at least not here in Vancouver (though a lot of the Chinese here still tend to prefer cash). Many American banks have quite attractive rewards for using credit cards, so many people opt to use credit cards instead.

Also, with their next "flagship" title, Dota 2, it seems like they're going the free-to-play route anyway, so people who are willing to play for the game itself is going to be irrelevant.

I've been to Galiano a few times, and from what the locals tell me, the internet connections there are pretty crappy. It's fine at the resort inn next to the ferry terminal, though.
