- gibybo 14y agoTheir DOTA clone isn't a standalone game, or at least hasn't been so far. It is/was built on the StarCraft II engine, so if it were to support Linux, StarCraft II would pretty much have to as well. However, I think WoW is much more likely since it brings in a lot more revenue than StarCraft II.
- Aissen 14y agoWell then StarCraft II is a good target since the version coming in 2013 is basically an upgrade to the game that went out mid-2011. So it's an already proven and well-understood technology, easier to port; just like the Source engine games for Valve.
