I don't see any reason why Google couldn't add to their javascript tracking code the ability to detect if a non-SSL script sits on an SSL page. They would then flag it in the analytics control panel. Whoever is monitoring analytics could s

I bought a Velocity Micro PC about 5 years ago. It was very well constructed in a solid aluminum case. Hopefully it bodes well for this device.

The first resource ( http://ipadpeek.com/ ) is a little deceptive since it just puts a pretty iPad frame around the browser and supports non-iPad compatible technologies such as flash and hover. Maybe OK for demos, but I wouldn't touch it f

Or if Google was really clever, they would create a green bumper to go on the iPhone with the text, "iPhone Reception Problems Fixed by Android."

Apple still has a choice of doing 1 of 2 things: 1) Dither around like they're doing now. Blame AT & T, the software, etc. 2) Acknowledge the issue. Offer a free piece of plastic to all users who want one. Their cost no more than $5 per

Earlier this year somebody contacted me about selling a domain name called "timemanagementclass.com". It was vaguely related to some other projects we were doing and we thought it might be useful. I negotiated hard with the seller and got h

Chrome OS is completely browser-centric & cloud-centric. While Android is a small device OS oriented to phones. Android also supports installing 3rd party applications, which my guess is Chrome doesn't. I assume that Chrome OS will comp

I think this is just about the advertising dollars. Facebook is quickly learning that on-page advertising conversion rates (and thus ad rates) are much lower than search. So they want a piece of that action. The other thing they really need

This must be phone dependent. I have my Blackberry 8900 on wifi all day and it maybe goes down by 20% in 24 hours. I'm currently in Mexico so I leave the GSM radio off and it seems that the battery lasts longer this way.

I think we get what you mean, but technically a laser, which are lightwaves of a single frequency wouldn't be spread out like a white light source hitting a prism. It would be bent but still would be a focused beam.

For some of the checklist items, I don't think "yes" and "no" are the appropriate options. There really should be a 3rd... "unknown" or "not reviewed" or something like that. "All text free from spelling errors" doesn't make sense to have "

I really like Microsoft's Log Parser. It does SQL style queries on log files. Really quite powerful. It's also command-line based so it's easily scriptable: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=890...
