I’ve been using the Harmony devices for years, even back before Logitech purchased them. The software is awful and has always been awful, but the hardware has been pretty consistently solid. I really wish there was a way to run a custom fir

Admittedly I haven’t followed this much at all, but it seems like a fundamentally bad idea for the US government to rely on any one single for provider for critical cloud computing infrastructure.

Manjaro is a really great option too, if you want something Arch flavored that’s a bit more user friendly.

Can you share more details on the data source for this? Seems highly inaccurate for the somewhat rural addresses I’ve checked in Pennsylvania.

Worth pointing out that Netflix has even had a game-like interactive movie called “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Mirror:_Bandersnatch

I think you’re making a fundamentally incorrect assumption that you have to politically agree with someone to like them or successfully work with them. At least for me that’s not the case at all. I guess diversity includes everything but di

Does it not concern you that a significant portion of those surveyed think it’s okay to fire someone for their (financial) support of a political candidate? You don’t have to talk about it for people to find out — it’s part public record if

While I don't agree that writing a component with a hook is always a mistake, I have seen them used in situations where it wasn't warranted. In the end, they are just another tool -- knowing how to use the tool appropriately is th

Is it just me or does this not work correctly in Firefox? The map loads, but no points are visible. Seems to work as expected in Chrome.

There's also the fact that people are not robots -- just because you tell them to do something doesn't mean they will do it. As an example -- even among people that are wearing masks consistently, how many of them are actually fol

The economic devastation is hardly hypothetical at this point. It’s happening and clearly observable even here in the US. Claiming that there is a simple political solution to the current global economic situation is beyond disingenuous.

Man, the comments on this thread on twitter are awful. People are actually upset that Twitter didn’t remove this tweet or ban Elon’s account. What is the world coming to that people are so afraid of opinions that they don’t agree with?

You’re right — it’s also worth reflecting on the fact that tuberculosis killed 1.5 million people in 2018 [1]. [1]: https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/tuberculosi...

I don’t understand why so many people are trying to analyze the numbers in the US as if we all live in the same place. The US is huge and the situation is vastly different between different states and even different areas within states. Con

I picked up the M142 (Ryzen 5 3500U variant) a couple weeks ago for $329. I’m super happy with it for the money — there really aren’t any competitors at this price point that are in the same size/weight class. It’s even better that the

Really not an issue once you learn how to ride and develop the right muscles. It's all in how you sit and learn to move with the horse rather than just reacting. I admittedly did use a jock strap when I was first getting started, but w
