In Diablo you click on things to increase your avatar power, eventually if you click on enough things your avatar power will have gone up enough you can complete the challenge of the day. There is skill in crafting a build, and some builds

The reddit API terms are written to imply not allowing users to bring their own key. Given how antagonistic reddit has been to 3rd party apps during this one can assume they would make this explicit if anyone tried.

That would be why the FAA has a rule that there must always be at least two people in the cockpit if the door is closed. In the US when a pilot needs the rest room a flight attended will take the pilots place (and usually leave the door ope

Apple invented the PDA (even the term) with the Newton in 1992. Steve wasn't with the company at the time, but given the company wouldn't have existed without him it isn't really that much of a stretch to say they wouldn'

Paxlovid apparently has interactions with a large number of relatively common medications, Molnupiravir does not (and one would hope it is only being used in cases where paxlovid is unavailable).

OnLive was 2009, PS Now was 2014, and Geforce Now launched in 2015. Stadia might have been well executed from a technical standpoint but AAA game streaming wasn't exactly a new and innovative idea in 2019.

That's a lot of extra weight for maybe 9-10kWHr of energy at most (assuming a full day of perfect summertime conditions)... One gallon of diesel fuel contains about 35kWHr of energy.

How? Reservoirs take up enormous amounts of land, are ecologically disruptive and increase flood risk, especially if the embankments are allowed to dry out during times of drought.

Well, it's held up for ~150 years in the form of our national parks just fine. That aside, the point here is that if something is being held for the common good, it should be held in common. "The Government" isn't a perf

CO2 makes up roughly 0.04% of the atmosphere. Handwaving, that means for every ton of carbon you remove you'd need to process at least 250 tons of air. To capture humanities current yearly output, you'd need to process over 7 Tril

Using the entitlements are enforced at runtime yes, but granting them in the first place is enforced at app review time. If an app asserts an entitlement the developer can't justify it will fail review.

I imagine similar things were said about burning oil and gas at one time. That aside I think the more pressing concern is the local environment, turning the area around your station into a brackish dead zone.

ICE vehicles aren't filled with fuel when shipped, and oil and gas both have to aerosolize in an oxygen rich environment before ignition is possible. Batteries just have to get hot, and that can occur from simple mechanical damage.
