Please read the site. It's inspired by https://1mb.club/ . All of the sites are user-submitted examples; they are not curated.

Of course, that's entirely subjective and I think several sites on this list look great. Regardless, JavaScript does not inherently make a site look better, and it isn't a necessity for nice looking sites. See: CSS Zen Garden.

A lot of commenters are completely missing the point of this site somehow. The site says: > Not all websites need Javascript to be beautiful and usable. This is a showcase of the Javascript-less web. It does not say: > JavaScript is b

I see the philosophy of "don't reinvent the wheel" taken to extremes in the React world, and before that, in the jQuery world. There is simply a plugin/component library for anything and everything you need to do, so rel

This page completely fails to load without JavaScript. :( It looks like just static content though?

Perhaps Bradley Taunt is bikeshedding, but it doesn't mean he's not pulling in the right direction. People obviously care because people obviously want their browsers to load content quickly. No one likes waiting for webpages to l

As much as it "feels" immature, it is still an understandable analogy, regardless if you're a fanatic. As other users pointed out, it has become a norm for software/webdev houses to convert what is mostly static content

I use Windows LTSC. I have not used Windows Terminal yet, but I'm fine with Cmder or Conemu so far.

I've been using Windows 10 LTSB and now LTSC for 3 years now. Absolutely, it's not for everyone. But for me, I tend to dislike the kinds of applications that are exclusive to Windows Store anyway.

I've mostly de-googled. I still use Google Search via Firefox container when DDG results are lacking, and still use Google Maps & Youtube because the alternatives pale in comparison (using NewPipe, F-Droid, and microG on my phone a

If you're a techie, you are likely capable enough to learn and use a static-site gen and host your blog on Github Pages, Vercel, Surge, Netlify, etc. If you're a techie, you probably also care enough to not inundate your readers

I wonder what Evan You's position on this is today. I use and have been productive with a couple smaller libs (Preact, Mithril, Hyperapp) and never felt I was making major tradeoffs. I suppose everyone can have very different use-cas

I've been considering switching to pnpm for political reasons since using open source projects that are ultimately at the mercy of big corps (npm > Microsoft, yarn > Facebook) makes me slightly uneasy. But I'm hesitant to be
