Yes it does work with APKs. Well, it should. It kept having issues with the only APK I had on hand, but when I just pulled some DEX files out and loaded them it handled them just fine (including decompilation)

For whatever its worth, I do security assessment (pentesting and the like). Checking logs for sensitive data is a routine test when given access atleast. Being given that access is disappointingly not routine though.

Yes, of course. The idea of certificate transparency logs is to be able to audit all of the certificates issued by a CA to detect mistakenly or maliciously issued certificates. You can go ahead and search the logs yourself through google.

I dont think DH is really all that small. Comlared to aws and stuff maybe but I think they have pretty significant infrastructure. What Dns providers are you thinking of? My guess would be something like cloudflare would be a good choice. T
