For me it is the first time to see a low-level exploit implementation written in JS. Is the exploit done through a PS4's web browser? Quite interesting.

It is true that this is confusing for people who come across it for the first time, but it is easy to understand/remember once you know this feature.

I would recommend JS stuff for middle schoolers. I agree Python is boring for Kids, but for kids under middle school, HTML + JS can be too much burden to learn. Besides the resources available on the web is not very friendly for Kids I thin

For people who say goto statements make spagetti, please consider looking at this goto use case in Linux, sock_create_lite() [1]. Imagine we make the same thing without goto here, is it gonna be more Don't-Repeat-Yourself, more readabl

That’s what I am thinking of. These days people use goto only to reduce spaghetti code in very specific use cases in C and nothing more.

Why they use "ASCII" for a distro release? This is so confusing name for people who don't know what Devuan is. I firstly thought some wierd guys created their own character encoding and claimed 2.0 version of ASCII.

Yeah, who would want to use ARM server, especially these days? Performance and power efficiency is not the only story nowadays. Most modern cloud servers rely on virtualization technologies. AFAIK ARM is very weak in running VMs. AMD's

Firtstly writing Qt desktop apps in Python is pretty popular so we don’t need to stick with C++ to write Qt app. It is hard to understand people cares about memory useage when desktops nowadays have a lot of RAM. What average Electron apps

As you can see, Qt for Python is not yet stable release. So you will want to use PyQt5 first. I remcommand PyQt5 because there are more resouces available on the internet now. PyQt5 and Qt for Python is a 1-to-1 binding to the original Qt a

Why not just looking at the source code? I attached an example of Arduino Zero varients [1] (it is directly from Atmel's SDK.) It is quite straightforward to see what happends before main(). In embedded system, you can even change it e

I don't know much about AMD64 but if the arguments are passed to registers then how it is possible to retrieve argc/argv later, as other functions likely to touch registers?

It is certainly possible to do this with C by editing a startup code. In embedded system, a source code of startup is provided and exposed by manufacturer's SDK so it is quite straightforward to do this. Besides that, I can't see

In embedded system, many manufacturer’s default startup code does not even implement argc/argv. In that case this won’t work, or you need to implement your own startup code.

No. Please. Struct bitfields may be useful to save memory (e.g. 1 bit for boolean-like variable) but don't rely on it when accessing register data or implenting protocols. The biggest issue with struct bitfields is that its implementat
