I too hope Android thrives. Even though I enjoy my iPhone for it’s design choices and it works for my use, I do understand the issue of ceding so much control to a single entity. Android’s existence as an “escape hatch” is certainly part of

I’m not defending Apple’s stance here, but I think the point they were making is that Epic had already admitted to intentionally breaking their previous agreements with Apple for their own gain. The court then ruled that Apple could ban Epi

I think it’s weird how we talk about phones like they are the problem and not social media. I love my phone, it’s one of the most useful things I own. I also had problems with wasting time and attention on social media and I solved it by un

It’s worth mentioning that there are accessibility options that let you control the pointer using your index finger or wrist instead of your eyes and it looks pretty nice. I do think that Apple chose eye tracking in large part to combat fat

I'm guessing they think Apple might consider an opt-out (or more likely opt-in) setting to allow messages from other platforms.

Messages sent via SMS or iMessage already look identical to the recipient, the only distinguishing feature is a small header at the top of the conversation that says either "Text message" or "iMessage".

Well you might work on projects where the extra performance makes working in the viewport faster. It’s not hard to find graphics workflows where extra resources aren’t useful.

You can configure the M3 models with twice as much RAM (128GB) as the M1 models, that’s quite an upgrade if your workflow is memory intensive. It’s especially compelling for graphics work as that memory is also used as VRAM. A desktop RTX 6
